TRAFFIC TIM

Fun-filled activity book teaches kids safety on our communities' streets.

Our first railroad map book was produced in 1998 and covered only Western Washington. Since then, coverage has expanded to twelve western states and is heading eastward! Maps are produced using USGS state base maps as a starting point. Specific railroad information is culled from current timetables and other sources and then placed over the base maps to bring into focus today's railroading.

Traffic Tim is the brainchild of Timothy and Beverly Miller. As the traffic engineer for the city, Tim was responsible for traffic safety education programs for the public. Both Tim and Bev noted that very little was being done to educate children on how to be safe on the streets and Traffic Tim was born. Their sons, Chris and Allan (aka "The Miller Brothers"), illustrated and designed the books. They are the authors and illustrators of two series of childrens and 'tweens books published by Warner Press.
